JKIA Terminal 1C night fire


Terminal 1C at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport has been briefly shut after night fire brought about by a things belt framework breakdown.

The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) on Thursday morning affirmed the occurrence which occurred at 11pm on Wednesday night.

KAA expressed that all travelers and staff at the terminal were emptied securely and the flame contained by the airplane terminal’s flame group.

No wounds

Also, KAA said that no wounds were accounted for amid the occurrence.

An announcement from KAA expressed: “We might want to affirm that at roughly 2344HRS the previous evening, we had a flame occurrence at JKIA Terminal 1C’s Check-motel counters 7 and 8 brought about by a stuff belt framework glitch.”

The expert included: “Terminal 1C (T1C) has since been briefly cordoned off and it’s flight activities moved to Terminal 1B.”
